Overnight Babi Island Adventure

Island Survival Trips and Camp-outs

Adventure with our conservation team to one of the most pristine islands in the world. Assist with reef and fish surveys, along with a night camped in the jungle next to the beach.

Babi is one of the world’s last remaining pristine, untouched primary rainforest islands. Due to its remote location, Babi is home to large amounts of critically endangered and endemic biodiversity.

On Babi you will participate in a number of conservation activities along with learning survival skills.

Participate in the following activities:

  • Reef and fish surveys

  • Carryout turtle nesting surveys

  • Setting up a jungle camp

  • Cook your own dinner of freshly caught fish

  • Learn survival skills, including lighting a fire from a flint

  • Sleep in hammocks

  • Collect wood from the jungle

  • Climb for and learning how to open coconuts

A one hour trip away from Simeulue, the waters between Simeuleu and Babi are alive, with dolphins and whales regularly being spotted!
